Perfect for the both of you.

This is my 4th bag of similar design. I had a gold one which begin to disintegrate (the outer gold) after several years. I have a brown one which I keep in one car and the replacment for the gold bag in my other car. The brown ones handle eventually became worn so I had a shoe maker put on a new one and it was like new again. --I just bought the camo bag for its casualness as the gold one is so nice I didn't want it to get tossed around in the car too much, what with kids and dogs. I'm thrilled with the design as this Camo one is the first of these bags I've owned to have a large open side pocket on the outside and a large one with a flap on the other side. In the past my bags had 4 small pockets on the exterior -- 2 to a side -- and you would have to decide what you had to have with you if you didn't want to carry your handbag as well. With the new design, I can throw more in these large pockets, including my Ipad, phone, sunglasses, and all the credit cards I need. This is the very best dog bag I've found on the market, especially if you want to subtly take your small dog with you everywhere, as I do. The panels on both ends allow for ventilation, the cushion insert is more than adquate without needing to add more padding. It hangs at a perfect length as a shoulder bag or can be carried naturally by hand. It easily fits under the seat in front of me on every airline I've been on. My 4 pound long-haired Chihuahua curls up and takes a nap or waits until I open the bag at the party or movie theater or in the store and then she enjoys watching what's going on from her obviously comfy 'den.' Recently, on a trip to New Orleans, I realized I had forgotten her bag. I had to buy a new one while there and it was very difficult. For some reason, manufacturers just don't get how important it is to have bags that look like handbags! It's the only time I'd ever forgotten Charlie's bag on a trip and that's part of why I bought the new camo bag also. The expensive replacement was heavy and not as nicely ventilated and you had to keep it against your body because there was a revealing mesh patch on one side. I'll take the gold onethe Camo is replacing and put it with my suitcases so I'll never forget a dog bag when I travel again! Before I found these bags I spent way too much money trying to find the prettiest, lightest, most subtle bag I could. I really believe none of them come close to this design. The gorgeous gun medal gray is on my bucket list.
